“I don’t need perfect, I just need you.”

I will start by saying that I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. These opinions are my own. Thank you so much to R.L Caulder and M. Sinclair for sending a copy my way!

This is a sequel; I will try and keep my review as spoiler free as possible but just be wary if you haven’t read first two books, Wings of Stars & Wings of Pain.

The time for our final fight is upon us…but how does one prepare to go against Heaven itself?

My father tried to kill me.

Yet in the same moment the blade met my throat, the rot beneath Alfemir’s carefully constructed front was laid bare for all to see.

With Alfemir liberated, the upper triads’ silent, watchful gaze now lingers over every spark of hope we’ve dared to ignite. It’s only a matter of time until history repeats itself—they will come to snuff out our rebellion.

Still, the stars hang heavier with each passing night as we race to uncover the rune that might keep me alive upon their descent. But if we make one mistake in crafting it, they’ll destroy me and the world alongside it.

Despite the steady strength, soft touches, and love from the five souls I’ve claimed as mine, the weight of all we’re up against is becoming too much to bear. Somehow the more I love, and feel their love in return, the heavier my place in the prophecy becomes.

It said I would be the world’s hope, or its demise, and that only I could decide.
Well, I have: I’ll burn the heavens themselves before I let them take away our home and those I love.

Wings of Hope was the perfect ending to the Fallen Destiny series. The plot here is wild as we hurdle towards the last battle, but we still get some sweet and steamy moments between Keiran and her guys.

Since this is the last book in the series, I will be vague. Thankfully, we pick up after the killer ending from the previous book. So much happens to Keiran, Bash, Steele, Gabe, Ronan and Nix, but everything was perfectly paced. My heart goes out to Keiran and the guys because there is no time to catch their breath after the events in Wings of Pain and to process everything before they need to cement alliances and prepare for the final battle against the upper triad. You can feel the exhaustion bleed through the pages. Keiran and the guys must push through to find out how to stop the doomed prophecy about the stars while trying to overthrow the upper triad, so Alfemir has finally healed from the control and corruption.

In between all the battle meetings and training sessions, we get to see quiet moments between Keiran, Bash, Steele, Gabe, Ronan and Nix. Which I adored! The guys all get a moment to reconnect with Kerian, and each reminds her that they will help carry the weight of leading this rebellion. I loved how they fell into domestic bliss. I especially enjoyed Ronan constantly trying to make sure everyone was fed. The way I squealed when the bond clicked into place as Steele finally accepted that to be with Kerian, he had to share. And that it resulted from a truly excellent group moment with Gabe and Kerian is an added bonus.

The final battle was intense. It had my emotions all over the place. I was cheering one moment and in tears the next—looking at you, Bash. I did not know how they were going to defeat the upper triad and the prophecy, but I loved how it all unfolded.

Trigger warnings for domestic violence and suicide. Keiran’s father abused her mother, and her mother took her own life. It was handled with care. But please be kind to yourself and skip if you can’t handle this content.

Wings of Hope had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The Fallen Destiny series is 100% a must-read for anyone who loves a paranormal romance with a high-stakes, high-paced plot and loves a why choose moment.
