“My heart was not forged simply but it was forged strong and it beat out a rhythm I can never regret. I did not ask to be queen but neither did I refuse. I made my destiny and I followed it all across Alba to its throne and its tomb. I was Lady Macbeth and I was Queen and I can only hope that in some small way Alba was richer for it.”
This is the time of year for either reflection or looking ahead to the new year. And this post will be one of the looking ahead ones. Today I’m going to share with you my most anticipated releases for 2019!
This won’t be a definitive list of all the releases I’m interested in. But I do create this list and add to it throughout the year. This list lives under the Anticipated Reads tab on the main menu.
Warring my thoughts on these books and why I’m excited will some time be incoherent rambling of excitement so I’m also including the currently available synopsis of each of these books.
Each photo is linked to the corresponding goodreads pages. So if you like the sound of it, you can add it to you goodreads TBR
They are listed in no particular order.
Since it’s the end of the year, which still doesn’t feel real, I thought I’d look back on my reading year with a survey.
I’ve adapted this from questions for Cait at paper fury. It looked like fun and the pie chats looked so cute. You will be glad to know that I found a way to simplify the pie chart making process, and now have a spreadsheet which I fill in throughout the year and it automatically makes the charts yay!!
Also this is for the all books I’ve read in 2018 so not all where released this year.
I am here with December Wrap Up. This month I read a total of 12 books and a total of 4,208 pages.
It’s the end of 2018 — I can’t hardly believe it! Man, this year has flown past. I’m not going to lie it wasn’t all easy but I’m glad to see it end, here’s to 2019!
So, since it’s only fitting, I thought I’d share with you my goals and challenges for 2019.
I really loved talking about my favourite myth retellings I thought I’d share with you my favourite fairy tale retellings.
All these books I have given 4 or 5 stars. I highly recommend them.
