I am here with my extremely late January 2018 Wrap Up! My one big goal of the year was to me more consistent with posting 😂 which has worked out so well but hey I can only go up from here since things are calming down at my new job.

Today’s topic is the books we didn’t get to in 2017. There are so many books I need to read so there is always books that I don’t get to in a year. But these are the ones are top of my 2018 TBR

The Beginning of the World in the Middle of the Night by Jen Campbell
I adore Jen’s booktube videos and I was so excited for this book that I preordered it and then never read it — no reason but I have just picked it up and am loving it.
Now I Rise by Kiersten White
I love love loved the first book and can’t wait to get to this one! Feels like a wintery read and it’s summer right now so I might save this for the colder months.
The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi
Hades and Persephone retelling with Indian mythology! This sounds like everything I could even want in a book. So I definitely want to get to it soon.
The Rose & The Dagger by Renee Ahdieh
The Wrath & The Dawn was the first book I brought because of the online book community. I adored it and really have no reason why I haven’t read the sequel.
The Wild Girl by Kate Forsyth
I saw Kate talking at the Historical Novel Society of Australiasia’s 2017 Conference and she was amazing. She knows her stuff and have a PHD in fairy tales—how awesome! This book tells the story of Dortchen Wild the wife of Wilhelm Grimm, which sounds like everything I’m into—fairy tales and historical settings.

September 2017 Warp Up
Hello!
I am here with my September 2017 Wrap Up! These are the book I read in the second half of September. Since #TheReadingChallenge took place in the first half of the month and I’ve already wrapped up those books.
I read a total of 6 books which I am really happy about. I read 1 Picture Storybook, 1 Anthology, 1 YA, 1 Historical Fiction and 2 Fantasy.

December Wrap Up
Hi all! I’m here with my December Reading Wrap Up. December was a good reading month for me, I read a total of 9 books.
December TBR Challenge: 3/3 which I’m ecstatic about. I definitely think having a lower TBR works for me since I still have room to pick up books I randomly want to read.
