Hi again! It’s Wednesday so that can mean only one thing: Top 5 Wednesday.
Today’s topic is our reading resolutions for 2018. New year, new me so new reading goals and things I’d like to achieve with this blog.
Top 5 Wednesday was created over on BookTube by the wonderful Laniey at gingerreadslaniey and run by the lovely Sam of Thoughts on Tomes . Also you can check out the Goodreads page for past and future topics.
These goals are listed in no particular order.
I have brought a lot of books over the last two years and it’s getting a bit crazy how little I’ve actually read of them. So this year I’ve decided to try and cut down my TBR by reading my own books. I will be taking part in Bookoploy and using it as a way to save and cut down my TBR.
This year like the last three years, I’m taking part in the Goodreads reading challenge and the Around the Year in 52 Books challenge. I have completed by Goodreads challenge every year but not my Around the Year challenge. So this year I am hoping that I can complete both.
That’s all for me. Comment down below and let me what your reading goals for 2018 are.
Until next time, happy reading!

That’s an impressive list of goals Dea but wow! 94 books read in the past year!! That’s impressive! I think my goal should be to join—and use—a library. Keeping up ‘something to read’ is very expensive if you buy new books and the search for second hand ones often leads me to buy things I never read. Currently I’m about to re-read The Blind Assassin which I vowed to do as soon as I finished it all those years ago!
Good luck with the goals. I love your reviews!

I agree reading can be an very expensive habit and libraries are pretty awesome. You’ll have to let me know what you think of The Blind Assassin I’ve been eyeing it off for a while now.
Thank you! Good luck with your goals! I hope you have an amazing year

Haha yeah I’m not sure it would’ve made my reading list when it first came out. I am definitely going to have to pick it up. I’ve so far only read The Handmaid’s Tale by Atwood and am not sure which book to pick up next.
