Today’s card is On The Road
If you could accompany any fictional character on their journey, quest, voyage, or adventure, who would you choose?
I know I’ve only just started the book, but I’m tempted to say Mary Jekyll from The Extraordinary Adventures of the Athena Club by Theodora Goss. Because who wouldn’t want to follow around a group of badass ladies who a helping solve mysteries in Victorian London.
I am loving this book and am completely engrossed in the story. I’m so glad this is a series because I am going to need the next books stat!
If you were to go on an epic road trip in your own world, which literary character (or author) would you choose to be your companion?
This was a hard choice! But in the end I went for Katey Kontent from Rules of Civility. I really related to her when reading the story and I think we’d get along great.
