The Reading Rush 2019 Wrap Up

Hello,

And The Reading Rush is over for another year! It always feels like it’s too short.

The Reading Rush is a one-week reading challenge from the 22 July to 28 July. It’s hosted by Ariel Bissett and Raeleen May.

I really enjoyed the addition of the official website this year. I loved that it created a graph to track your reading and that you got badges for each challenge you complete.

I didn’t have the most successful reading week and didn’t read as much as I wished. I finished three of the reading prompts and two bonus prompts!

On to the books!

Challenges I completed

same-spot

Read a book in the same spot the entire time: I Dare You by Ilsa Madden

non-human

Read a book with a non-human main character: Heart of the Pack by Jenny Fame

five-words

Pick a book that has five or more words in the title: A Prince to be Feared by Mary Lancaster

Bonus Challenges!

five-star

Read a 5 star book: Which I gave to A Prince to be Feared by Mary Lancaster.

1000-pages

Read over 1000 pages: For the week I read a total of 1,052 pages!

Also I thought I’d share with you my reading progress of the week. The average number of pages I read a day was 150. My worst reading day was Day Three where I read only 83 pages and by best reading day was Day Six where I read 262 pages.

That’s all for me. Comment down below and let me know if you took part in the Reading Rush and if you managed to read 7 books.

Until next time, happy reading!
