Hello!
Today I thought I join in Waiting on Wednesday. Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme that originally created by Jill at Breaking the Spine but has since been adapted with Can’t Wait Wednesday by Teresa at Wishful Endings.
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature that showcases upcoming release that we are dying to get to!
Fable (Fable #1) by Adrienne Young
Published by: Wednesday Books
Publication date: 01 September 2020
Summary
As the daughter of the most powerful trader in the Narrows, the sea is the only home seventeen-year-old Fable has ever known. It’s been four years since the night she watched her mother drown during an unforgiving storm. The next day her father abandoned her on a legendary island filled with thieves and little food. To survive she must keep to herself, learn to trust no one and rely on the unique skills her mother taught her. The only thing that keeps her going is the goal of getting off the island, finding her father and demanding her rightful place beside him and his crew. To do so Fable enlists the help of a young trader named West to get her off the island and across the Narrows to her father.
But her father’s rivalries and the dangers of his trading enterprise have only multiplied since she last saw him and Fable soon finds that West isn’t who he seems. Together, they will have to survive more than the treacherous storms that haunt the Narrows if they’re going to stay alive.
Why I can’t wait to read this
I have adored Adrienne Young’s pervious books, Sky in the Deep and The Girl Who The Sea Gave Back. I love her writing style and the world’s she builds are pure magic.
I am really really hoping that we have pirates in this story because I love a good pirate story and others I’ve read have been so-so.
Also have the seen the cover 😍😍😍 it’s so pretty! The team at Wednesday Books have out done themselves on this one!
That’s it for me. Comment down below and let me know which books release date you cannot wait for.
Until next time, happy reading!

I read Adrienne Young’s other duology and thought it was pretty good, so I’m curious about this one too!
