Hello!
Today I’m back with another Waiting on Wednesday. Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme that originally created by Jill at Breaking the Spine but has since been adapted with Can’t Wait Wednesday by Teresa at Wishful Endings.
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature that showcases upcoming release that we are dying to get to!

Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan

Publication date: 23 February 2021
Summary
Life for Emma isn’t good. The world knows her as Princess Anya on Dark Castle, but then her character gets the axe—literally. The cherry on top is finding her boyfriend in bed with another woman. She needs a break, and sanctuary comes in the form of Rosemont, a gorgeous estate in California promising rest and relaxation.
Then she meets the owner’s equally gorgeous grandson, ex–hockey player and current recluse Lucian Osmond, and she sees her own pain and yearning reflected in his eyes.
He’s charming when he wants to be but also secretive and gruff, with protective walls as thick as Emma’s own. Despite a growing attraction, they avoid each other.
But then there’s an impromptu nighttime skinny-dip, and Lucian’s luscious homemade tarts and cream cakes start arriving at Emma’s door, tempting her to taste life again…
In trying to stay apart, they only grow closer—and their broken pieces just might fit together and make them whole.
Why I can’t wait to read this
Kristen Callihan is one of my all time favourite romance authors. Callihan, along with Kylie Scott, helped to cement my love of the genre. So honestly I will read everything she releases.
This romance sounds so sweet. I love the idea that Emma and Lucian find each other as they need to heal from the demands from the world. Also love that it sounds like it’s going to be a slow burn which I much prefer to an insta-love.
Also Lucian sounds like he is going to be a grump hero, which we all know is something I adore. I have pre-order this one! I think I will probably put everything I’m reading to the side to pick Make It Sweet up when it’s released.

Anyway, that’s it for me. Comment down below and let me know which books release date you cannot wait for.
Until next time, happy reading!
