Hello!
Today I thought I join in Waiting on Wednesday. Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly meme that originally created by Jill at Breaking the Spine but has since been adapted with Can’t Wait Wednesday by Teresa at Wishful Endings.
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly feature that showcases upcoming release that we are dying to get to!
Wolf Rain (Psy-Changeling Trinity #3 Psy-Changeling #18) by Nalini Singh
Published by: Gollancz
Publication date: 6 June 2019
Summary
Kidnapped as a young girl, her psychic powers harnessed by a madman, Memory lives a caged and isolated existence . . . until she comes face-to-face with a wolf. Labelled an empath by her bad-tempered rescuer, Memory knows that her ‘gift’ is nothing so bright. It is a terrible darkness that means she will always be hunted.
But Memory is free now and she intends to live. A certain growly wolf can just deal with it.
Alexei prefers to keep his packmates at bay, the bleak history of his family a constant reminder that mating, love, hope is not for him. But Memory, this defiant and fearless woman who stands toe-to-toe with him awakens the most primal part of his nature – and soon, he must make a choice: risk everything or lose Memory to a murderous darkness that wants to annihilate her from existence.
Why I can’t wait to read this
No surprise that the first book I feature for Waiting on Wednesday is the next book in the Psy-Changeling Series 😂😂😂 because as my bother says all the time, I am complete trash for this series!
The stakes in the series seem to get higher each book and I cannot wait to see how Memory and Alexei’s story plays into the wider world.
I love the world that Nalini has created. It incorporates every aspect of the world, taking places in different countries and doesn’t shy away from having diverse characters. This series would have to the best most diverse I’ve ever read.
Also changelings — commonly known in the urban fantasy genre as shifters — are my all time favourite supernatural creature. Psy-Changeling series also include my favourite romance trope — mates/soulmates.
That’s it for me. Comment down below and let me know which books release date you cannot wait for.
Until next time, happy reading!
