Why I can’t wait to read this

This series is one of the most creative, engaging and hilarious I’ve ever read. If you are new to this series, it follows Mary, Dianna, Beatrice, Catherine and Justine who are the daughters of nineteenth centuries’ famous mad scientists — Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll, Dr. Moreau and Dr. Rappaccini.

This story reminds me of the TV show Penny Dreadful mixed with the X-men franchise. It’a also told in a unique way, sprinkled throughout are comments from each of the member of the Athena Club. Each character has a distinct voice.

I will say I am also a little sad that this in the final books in the series  but I could keep reading the Athena Club adventures for the rest of my life.
