O.W.L.s Magical Readathon 2020 Wrap Up

Hello,

I can’t believe April is over and with that so is the O.W.L.s readathon! This is my second time taking part in this readathon and I had so much fun. I cannot wait for the N.E.W.T.s in August.

The readathon was hosted on BookTube by G from Book Roast. It was month long Harry Potter themed readathon where each for each book you read, you pass one of your O.W.L exams.

To pass the readathon, you will have to get your OWL in 2 subjects. This will get you at the Acceptable level. Six books will get you an Exceeded Expectations, where 9 will get you an Outstanding.

Your Wizdarding Careers determines which O.W.L.s you need to pass and in which subjects. And this year we had the addition of Course, Seminars and Training which allowed you to get extra skill such as Dragon Tamer.

To recap, the career I chose was Hogwarts Professor.

This is probably one of the most obvious career that’s displayed in the Wizadring World but I think it will be fun. The subject I would teach is History of Magic.

So to become a Professor at Hogwarts, the O.W.L.s I needed to pass were; History of Magic and Defence Against the Dark Arts and 5 additional subjects.

This April I completed 9 O.W.L.s which is an Outstanding — which I am thrilled with! This month has been crazy busy at work and I’ve been picking up some extra hours which has left me exhausted.

The O.W.L.s I completed are:

Arithmancy|Magical qualities of the number 2: Read something outside your favourite genre — Deadly Obsession by April Hunt
