Recent Reads ||Jan 01 to Jan 10||

Hello!

I am bringing back my recent reads series which I totally abandoned last year. So fingers crossed I stick with it this year! I’m still trying to find the best way to review all the books I read since monthly wrap ups don’t work for me. In these posts I won’t be reviewing the books from the Romanceopoly and Finishing Series TBRs.

I will do my best not to include spoilers for the sequels but just be weary if you want to avoid finding out too much about the storyline.

Onto the ratings!

March Romanceopoly Wrap Up

Hello,

I cannot believe that March  is over and with it is the end of my second month month of Romanceopoly! I completed all the books on my TBR. I’m on track to be able to fulfil all the Moon challenges.

Like the name suggests, it’s romanced themed Monopoly game which is designed to get you to explore a range of different sub genres. Each neighbourhood has been replaced by a genre and each street has a unique challenge within that genre. Although, some neighbourhoods are a little more diverse and offer a melting pot of different genres to delve into.

The challenge is hosted by the ladies over at PeaceLoveBooksxo and Under the Covers Book Blog. For all the information about the challenge and recommendations can be found at the Romanceopoly website.

On to the books and prompts I completed!

Recent Reads ||Jan 01 to Jan 14||

Hello!

I’m here with the first edition of my recent reads series. Since last year I was horrible at writing and keeping up with my monthly wrap up posts in 2019, I thought I would try something different for 2020.

Instead of my monthly wrap up, I’m going to make one of these posts after ever 5 books or so I read. I won’t include overall stats like I did in my month wrap up, instead I’ll leave all of that for a quarterly check-in posts.

I’m hoping this will allow me to review more book and more consistently. 2019 was my biggest reading year, I was averaging 11 books a month so having to write a long post at the end of the month was overwhelming so I procrastinated and never ending up writing them. We’ll see how this goes *fingers crossed*
