“Let us be your new family, Omega.”

I will start by saying that I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Thank so much Ash and Hallow Cove’s PR team for sending a copy my way!

After a disastrous gallery opening, Roan needs out of London society fast and Hallow’s Cove needs someone to fix up the town art centre. It should be a perfect fit, but after a damp reception from the monster residents Roan is worried she’ll never outshine her royal lineage, especially when rumours spread she might be more scam than artist.

Clay and Mitch are content with their life in Hallow’s Cove, even without an Omega to complete their Wolven pack. Who has time to date when they’re trying to keep their business afloat in the off season? But one whiff of the new artist in town, and both Wolven realise she’s their fated Omega.

After a few fumbled, flirty conversations and an impromptu poetry night, Clay and Mitch finally share their feelings with Roan, but is she prepared for pack dynamics? And can she convince Hallow’s Cove that she’s the right woman for the job?

The Hallow Cove series has been scratching my need for all things cosy. I am having the best time with this series. I think Wolves and Whipped Cream might be my favourite. It has all the things I love; plus size rep, MMF dynamic with a sprinkling of lite omegaverse

Roan has fled London’s high society after a disastrous gallery opening. She’s worried her royal heritage will always outshine her art, so she can’t be certain that her success is due to her talent. What better place to hide away than our monster town, Hallow’s Cove? The town needs someone to fix up the art centre and Roan could be the perfect fit. Clay and Mitch are wolvens content with their life in Hallow’s Cove, even without an Omega to complete their pack. The pair run the town’s bakery and keeping it afloat outside tourist season is a full-time job. Also, no one has sparked their interest until Roan. One whiff is all it takes for them to know she’s their fated Omega. After some awkward, flirty conversation, Clay and Mitch finally share their feelings with Roan. But will she be comfortable with the pack dynamic? And can she leave her life in London behind?

I am in awe of how developed these characters are and how much relationship development Ash packs into under 250 pages. It’s a masterclass in writing a fully developed romance in short form.

My heart goes out to Roan. Her family are truly awful. The way they tear down her belief that she can make it in the art world on her own and that she’s talented packs an emotional punch. I’m so glad that she found herself in this cosy town.

Clay and Mitch have been together forever. Clay is an ex-college footballer turned baker. He’s comfortable in his life and loves Mitch with all his heart. He’s nervous when Roan comes to town because he’s “let himself go”. The way Clay feels about his plus size body is so relatable, while it’s not something he thinks about all the time, he is conscious of his weight and hold himself back. The way Roan and Mitch show him how much they love him as a big boy left me panting.

I will say Roan and Clay are so lucky to have Mitch. He’s a pure golden retriever with the biggest heart. The way he breaks through their insecurities and supports them is incredible.

I am obsessed with their dynamic. Roan is a little bratty and desperate for unconditional love, which is the perfect match for Clay and Mitch’s need to spoil her. I love them! From their awkward flirting to the dirty group scenes. I giggled and grinned the whole time!

I adored Wolves and Whipped Cream! It’ll be a story I read whenever I need a cosy, monster romance pick-me-up! I am so thankful for this series as it’s introduced me to a number of new authors. After devouring this, I am excited to dive into Ash Raven’s other work.
