O.W.L.s Magical Readathon 2019 TBR

Hello,

This year marks the second year of O.W.L.s readathon which is hosted on BookTube by G from Book Roast. It’s a month long Harry Potter themed readathon where each for each book you read, you pass one of your O.W.L exams. To pass the readathon, you will have to get your OWL in 2 subjects. This will get you at the Acceptable level. Six books will get you an Exceeded Expectations, where 9 will get you an Outstanding.

Hello,

I can’t believe it’s almost March already! This March round 2 of Middle Grade March is happening!

Middle Grade March is a readathon similar to Nonfiction November. The goal for this readathon is to celebrate Middle Grade books and to read more than you regularly would.

This readthon is hosted by Krista of BookAndJams and Katie of Life Between Worlds over on BookTube.

I love Middle Grade fiction and I think this is the perfect way to get to some of the books sitting on my shelves

Autumn Readathon TBR

Hello!

The Autumn Readathon is a one-week readathon that’s hosted by one of my favourite booktubers, Mercedes from MercysBookishMusings. This is the readathon’s second year and has prompts based around autumnal themes.

There are four prompts and two bonus prompts. I will say I don’t think I’ll be able to through all of the prompts but it’s still fun to pick a book for each one.

The #Autumnreadathon runs from Saturday 20th to Friday 26th October.

#TheReadingQuest TBR

Hi there,

I did post my TBR on Instagram before the challenge started but I thought I’d post it here too.

#TheReadingQuest is an awesome four week reading challenge based on video games. The challenge runs from Sunday 13 August to Sunday 10 August. The challenge runs like a bingo board with each title representing a stage (reading prompt) you must complete. The difference is that you’re starting point on the grid depends on the character class you chose.

For more info about the challenge head to Read at Midnight’s blog.

There are four character classes – each represent a character type for a video game:

For this challenge I’ve chosen the The MAGE!

The books I’ve chosen to read are:

  • Book with a one word title: Arcadia by Iain Pear
  • Book that contains magic: Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
  • Book based on Mythology: The Firebrand by Marion Zimmerman Bradley
  • Book set in a different world: Windwitch by Susan Dennard
  • First book in a series: Loki’s Wolves by K.L. Armstrong & M.A. Marr

All the artwork has been created by the wonderful CW of Read, Think, Ponder.

That’s all for me. Comment down below and let me know if you’re taken part in the challenge and let me know what you’re planning on reading.

Until next time, happy reading!

April 2016 TBR

Hi all! And welcome to a new month and another TBR post. I’m sorry for my lack of posts – still trying to find a balance now I’m back at uni. Because of my mounting assessments, I ‘ve decided to keep my TBR low since I don’t need any added pressure.

Most of these books are for my Around the World in 52 Books Reading Challenge.

Now onto the books!

That’s all for me for today. Comment down below and let me know what books you’re planning to read this month.

Until next time, happy reading!
