Try a Chapter Tag

Hello!

I have been in the biggest reading slump. I recently got a promotion at work which is exciting but also means I’ve been working extra hours and that when I get home I do not have the mental energy to read. I am hoping that this tag will help me find a book which will pull me out of my reading slump

I first saw this tag over on Mercedes from MercysBookishMusings channel but it was first created by Malia from BookParadise. This is the perfect tag to help me figure out what to read next!

The tag guidelines are:

  • Choose 5+ books you’ve been meaning to read.
  • Read up to the first chapter, prologue included.
  • Decide if you’ll complete it or set it aside.

Now onto the books!

Recent Reads ||Jan 01 to Jan 10||

Hello!

I am bringing back my recent reads series which I totally abandoned last year. So fingers crossed I stick with it this year! I’m still trying to find the best way to review all the books I read since monthly wrap ups don’t work for me. In these posts I won’t be reviewing the books from the Romanceopoly and Finishing Series TBRs.

I will do my best not to include spoilers for the sequels but just be weary if you want to avoid finding out too much about the storyline.

Onto the ratings!

February TBR

Hello,

I am here today with my first TBR of the year — I was planing on doing one for January buuuut I left it way to late. Since I am a big mood reader I only select a handful of books for my TBR so there is still freedom to pick up whatever else I’d like. I’m going to share with you 5 Romanceopoly picks and 2 books from my finishing series challenge.

On to the books and prompts!

Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow

“These were supposed to be her brothers and sisters. Loyal for life. But with a single word, they were looking at her as if she was their enemy.”

This is a sequel; I will try and keep my review as spoiler free as possible but just be wary if you haven’t read first book, Nevermore: The Trails of Morrigan Crow.

Also if you haven’t read the first book, you should it’s all kinds of awesome!
